Host:

Fellows are placed in one of the participating United States. Fellows are unable to choose which university to attend. Rather they are recruited in different groups of 7-15 in the most suitable hosting company based on their area of interest and professional field.

Study Level:

As a non-degree program, the Fellowship offers important freedoms for proficient improvement through chose college courses, going to meetings, organizing, and commonsense work encounters

  • Economic Development
  • Finance and Banking
  • Higher Education Administration
  • Human Resource Management
  • Law and Human Rights
  • Public Health Policy and Management
  • Public Policy Analysis and Public Administration
  • Teaching of English as a Foreign Language
  • Technology Policy and Management

Number of Awards:

Approximately 200 Fellowships are granted yearly.

Eligible Nationality:

Citizens of eligible countries in Sub-Saharan AfricaEurope and EurasiaMiddle East and North AfricaEast Asia and PacificSouth and Central Asia, and Western Hemisphere.

Scholarship Value:

Fellowship provides for:

  • Providing tuition and fees at the designated host university;
  • Pre-academic English language training, if required;
  • A maintenance (living) allowance, including a one-time settlement allowance;
  • Accident and illness coverage
  • A book allowance;
  • A one-time computer subsidy
  • Air travel (domestic travel to the United States for programs and required program events);
  • A professional development allowance for professional activities such as professional activities, professional philosophy and conferences

Eligibility:

The applicant must have:

•  An undergraduate (first university) degree,
•  A minimum of five years of full-time, professional experience
•  Limited or no prior experience in the United States,
•  Demonstrated leadership qualities,
•  A record of public service in the community, and
•  English language ability

Application Procedure:

Application deadline shift by country yet falls around May to September every year. The assigning U.S. International safe haven or Binational Fulbright Commission will educate you regarding its inside cutoff time for getting applications. Government offices and Commissions should present their assignments to the Institute of International Education office in Washington, DC by 1 October.
